Abstract
This project developed recommendations based on the operational and water treatment data collected from dozens of full-scale water treatment facilities that have converted to biofiltration. These recommendations serve as the basis for the Biofiltration Conversion Assessment Tool & Guidance Manual, which will assist utilities considering a conversion to biofiltration by identifying the costs, benefits, and consequences for their facilities. Published in 2017.
