Abstract

In February 2009, WERF, with collaboration from the U.S. EPA, assembled a group of experts from academic, state and federal agency, utility, consultant, and NGO communities to determine if marine coastal and Great Lakes recreational water research can be extrapolated to inland waters. The group identified and prioritized research needs to support development of water quality criteria applicable to inland waters. This report summarizes the proceedings and findings of the workshop.
