Abstract
This project strengthens the understanding of side-stream enhanced biological phosphorus removal (EBPR) and develops best practices for facilities implementing EBPR processes. Research results include (1) design guidelines for EBPR processes that rely on biomass fermentation, (2) operating tools for EBPR processes that implement fermentation, and (3) modeling best practices for EBPR facilities. Published in 2023.
