Determines through bench studies the feasibility and pitfalls of Cr(VI) removal strategies to extremely low levels in drinking water. Considers several candidate technologies including anion exchange, reductive precipitation followed by membrane filtration, reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, and adsorptive ligand exchange media.
