Abstract

This research sought to develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy that relies on enhanced automation of aeration control to optimize process performance under a low dissolved oxygen operation technology (NPXpress). Additionally the study focused on characterization of microbial communities and their bioactive mechanisms during the biological treatment process by using standard and innovative technologies that could be used for nutrient removal.
