Abstract

This project designed and tested a pilot-scale stormwater capture, treatment, and recharge (CTR) system. The specific research objective was to quantify and optimize stormwater nutrient and trace organic contaminant removal in unit-process stormwater treatment and recharge systems under conditions representative of regions where the majority of nutrient releases occur in a small number of precipitation events. Research partners: EPA and WE&RF. Published in 2017.
