Definition, Framework, and Maturity Assessment for Intelligent Water Systems

The water sector is undergoing a transition to a digital and smarter water sector. Previously, there was not a comprehensive framework to guide the digital maturity transformation journey in a programmatic way and bridge with existing research efforts that embed digital solutions in everyday utility business practices. This project developed a new guidance document containing a framework for intelligent water systems that will aid in utility decision-making processes, as well as an online tool that enables utilities to easily evaluate their digital maturity levels.
