Abstract
The purpose of this research was to summarize available literature on best practices and tools for soil treatment unit (STU) design and performance. It describes STU performance based on data and information from the literature and discusses available modeling tools for constituent modeling within onsite wastewater treatment systems (OWTS). The report summarizes the analysis of the information reported in the literature and provides conclusions and recommendations for future monitoring. Published by WERF. 196 pages.
