Abstract

WWTP operators need a decision support system (DSS) to guide their actions following detection of an upset event. This report describes state-of-the-art upset event support systems and anomaly detection technologies, and assesses the feasibility of support systems to prevent upsets. It also discusses the development of a DSS prototype. Published by WERF. 214 pages. Online PDF available only at www.waterisac.org. (2009)
