Abstract

This project determined the optimum coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration conditions for the removal of cyanobacteria and their metabolites. The research also identified preoxidation processes and conditions applied for water quality goals other than cyanobacteria control that do not result in release of intracellular cyanotoxins and taste and odor compounds.
