Abstract

Studies the correlation of fungi, water source, treatment procedures, and nutrient availability to taste and odor events in treated drinking water. Investigates treatment and control strategies. Presents a simple test, based on the presence of indicator organisms, to monitor the presence of problem fungi species and to predict potential taste and odor episodes. Published in 2003.
